The 3 Colorful Bikinis We’re Obsessed With From Kristen Louelle’s SI Swim Photoshoot

A finalist in the 2021 Swim Search, Kristen Louelle traveled to Atlantic City for her photoshoot with Yu Tsai, where the San Diego native modeled a number of fun printed swimsuits and colorful bikinis.
In addition to her modeling work, Louelle is the cohost of the Barely Filtered podcast, in which she and friend Aurora Culpo discuss everything from motherhood to wellness. She’s also a proud mom of three: Louelle and her husband, former NFL running back Tyler Gaffney, share boys Jaxon and Conway and just welcomed a baby girl named Nala this spring.
The same year she participated in the open casting call, Louelle walked the runway for SI Swimsuit during Miami Swim Week. At the time, she reflected on the “magical moment” on her blog, where she noted that she was incredibly proud to represent women of all shapes and sizes on the catwalk.
“I hope I made you all proud. I’ve never been more honored to represent YOU. Sports Illustrated is continuing to break boundaries & show the world that we don’t fit into one box,” Louelle wrote. “That there are a million boxes & we can choose whatever damn box & however many boxes we want to be in. Because of SI, girls will look at these pictures & say ‘I see me.’”
